It’s summer time and one of my favorite activities that I love to do is enjoying the beauty of nature. If you know me by now, then you would know I like going camping. For the past 4 years, I been going to Yosemite National Park. So this year, I decided to do something different — Road Trip!!!! A road trip is not complete without an RV. So I decided to give that a shot. I got to spend some time with my cousins where 2 of them came all the way from Canada to hop on a RV for a road trip. It was nice to have 2 birthdays during this 1 week trip.
We started our journey going thru the state of Nevada, where there was nothing much there besides the city called Reno. =D Next stop was the potato state –Idaho. Idaho was not any better too. It was just a big piece of land with nothing but potatoes. Although we did run into a nice bridge where people where jumping off and parachuting down. Then we finally reached our first National Park of our trip — Yellowstone! Yellowstone is so beautiful with full of trees, wildlife, and lakes. Too bad didn’t see any bears. Then again I don’t think I want to see any bears there, especially when there are grizzly bears too. Weather was perfect in Yellowstone. We did some hiking while checking out the hot springs; mudpots; and most importantly the geysers. Our next destination was Utah. We got to rest in Utah before reaching the desert. Then we finally made it Zion National Park. This national park was totally different from Yellowstone. One thing was that it was extremely hot — 107 F degree!!! But it was full of canyons and red rocks. We did one full day hike called The Narrows. We were hiking on rocks and 90% of the time we were in the water. Water reached up to waist high to knee deep. This was good because it cooled us down from the 100+ F degree weather. Then we reached our final destination — Las Vegas. We just mainly relaxed and walked around the strip before heading back to Cali.
Overall the trip was very fun with lots of driving; Walmart trips; and enjoying the beautiful National Parks of America. If you ever do a road trip — rent a RV! It’s worth it. =) Now check out the photos. Enjoy!
